    MUSICA SACRA is a concert series of Pärnu professional musicians, which aim is to perform Pärnu composers’ music, give Pärnu interpreters the opportunity to accomplish artistically vivid concert programs, engage high-level guest musicians and bring concert projects out of Pärnu.The concerts take place on Saturdays at four o’clock in Elisabeth Church in Pärnu.Every concert is followed by a discussion between the performers and the audience. Concerts series MUSICA SACRA follow the tradition of regular classical music concerts started in autumn 2010. The series’ artistic director is Andrus Kallastu.

    This year's marathon is the special event of Pärnu County Victory Day Marathon to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Republic of Estonia.
    This family event includes a variety of distances and disciplines, including a full and half marathon, e-marathon and children's races. The memorial flame lit in the Church Dedicated to the Memory of Estonian Soldiers in Tori is borne by runners along a route marked by sites of historical and natural interest to the birthplace of the Republic so as to light the flame marking Victory Day the next day.
    The beautiful route the event follows, the encouraging public along the way and the emotional high of crossing the finishing line in central Pärnu are what make this event so special.

    With every passing year the Pärnu Summer Cup becomes a bigger, more exciting and more important event on the international youth competition calendar. More than 100 teams take part, from Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Sweden and other countries.The festival opens every year with a parade headed up by orchestras and dancing girls.     Estonia 100 open-air show  The grand open-air show “Hundred Year’s Night” is most significant event in Pärnumaa, which is planned for the anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. Songs, dances and original texts based on the traditions of Pärnumaa that are specially created for the production, will be performed at the event.The production unites dance, music, theatre and visual art. It will cover the whole Pärnu Moat and meadow both on the ground, in the water and in the air. People, mythological creatures, strange phenomena, twisted historical events and everyday things will go hand in hand especially at night-light. The night will be magically lit by the powerful lighting and video 

  • Jüri Jaanson Two Bridges Run

    The Two Bridges Run named after rowing legend Jüri Jaanson is probably Pärnu's most famous public amateur sporting event.
    Every year since 2001 sports enthusiasts have gathered in Pärnu in the beginning of September to run or walk the 10 km course along the Pärnu River. There is plenty to do for the whole family. The programme includes the run, walk and Nordic walk, children's races and the sports market.

During Café Week, meals consisting of salad, dessert and a cup of tea/coffee are offered for €7 or €9. How to participate?
