1. Pärnu Convention Bureau

The nonprofit Pärnu Convention Bureau was founded on 18^th October 2004 at the initiative of the city of Pärnu and the private sector. Currently 15 members belong to the Pärnu Convention Bureau.

The mission of the Pärnu Convention Bureau is to help develop convention services in Pärnu County through various marketing activities and the distribution of convention-related information.
The PCB’s vision is the following: by 2015, Pärnu County is an internationally known and recognised as a hospitable destination for convention tourism. To achieve this vision, the following goal has been set: to introduce Pärnu County as a year-round destination for convention tourism, which will reduce seasonality and increase the number of business visitors.

The tasks of the Convention Bureau include the following: sale and marketing of the destination; distributing neutral information to convention organisers and answering queries; providing members with high-quality services (incl. information, training, joint marketing); communication with the media; collecting and analysing convention-related statistics and developing trends; compiling and administering a database of conference service providers; local ground-handling for international convention organisers.

2. Pärnu Conferences

The largest events that we organise are, of course, the Pärnu Management Conference, Pärnu Marketing Conference, and Pärnu Finance Conference. The main purpose of these conferences is to provide Estonian managers and top specialists with the opportunity to get together once a year, think about what they are doing and why, exchange ideas with their colleagues, and develop some new ideas.

3. Carrot Conference Solutions

CARROT organises in-house, client, specialised, and annual conferences and seminars for companies and associations. We do not organise presentations or parties! Unlike other conference organisers, we also help clients to prepare the content of the conferences and to make the conference experience enjoyable and interesting.

4. Reiser Conferences

Reiser Conferences were founded in Pärnu in 1991. We specialise in incoming tourism. Our strengths are knowledge of the opportunities offered by Pärnu and Pärnu County, and our professional team.

Reiser provides the following conference services to help you conduct your conference:  booking accommodation in various class hotels based on your wishes; organising all the communication and settlement of accounts between the client and the hotel; registering participants; preparing and distributing materials; ordering conference catering; organising receptions and dinner during the conference; and organising transport and excursions.

1. ART Konverentsitehnika

ART Konverentsitehnika has been operating in Tallinn since 1995. Our principal fields of activity include the provision of simultaneous translation equipment, audio, and projection equipment.  We provide suitable technical solutions for various events, such as conferences, training sessions, presentations, summer days, birthday parties, and performances. We have widespread experience with European Union translators and seminar organisers. If necessary, we can help to furnish conference halls with suitable equipment, and we have experience with the technical standards of simultaneous translation booths. We provide our services throughout Estonia and abroad, if necessary. Our main clients are public sector agencies and businesses.

3. Rental of Pärnu College premises and equipment

Premises: 20-seat auditorium (rooms 254, 253, 304); and 40 to 50 seat auditorium (rooms 111, 113, 115, 206, 207, 256).

Prices depend on the required equipment.

4. Avicom Est

Avicom EST began operations in 2000. Avicom EST is a company that provides professional audio, video, and lighting equipment. Our principal activities are related to determining technical solutions and providing equipment for offices, schools, cultural institutions, commercial establishments, conferences centers, hotels, entertainment establishments, and more.

The goal of Avicom EST is to provide its clients with integrated and professional solutions. We provide the best solutions for our clients, based on their needs and price range. The equipment we supply is provided by world-renowned manufacturers.

Translations

1. Mainor Language Center

Written translation: One page of translation equals 1,800 characters. The normal translation speed is four pages per day (two pages per day for technical texts). For rush jobs, five to six pages are done per day. Rush jobs are 25% more expensive; the translation of specialised texts (legal, technical, etc.) is 25%-50% more expensive.

Oral translation: It is recommended that the translation is ordered and translator is supplied with the necessary materials two weeks before the planned event. Two translators are necessary for assignments that last more than two hours.

3. Sunny Galandrex Translation Bureau

Sunny Galandrex Translation Bureau has been providing translation services since 1997. In 2000, the Estonian Association of Translation Companies (ETBL) was founded with the goal of ordering the provision of translation services in the market and establishing quality standards. Galandrex Translation Bureau was one of the founders of the ETBL and is one of its current members. As of 2004, the ETBL is a member of the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC).

In February 2008, Galandrex joined Sunny Business Services, and its new name became Sunny Galandrex Translation Bureau. In addition to written translations, we also provide oral translations – for signing contracts at the notary or for large international conferences. We have a great deal of experience with both.

4. University of Tartu Pärnu College Language Center

The Language Center is an academic structural unit at the University of Tartu Pärnu College. The objectives of the Language Center include: providing high-quality language instruction based on modern methods; the teaching of foreign languages in the departments based on the needs and requirements for languages; preparing new teaching materials and dealing with language-related projects.

Based on its principal objectives, the Language Center also deals with the following: teaching foreign languages to students as a compulsory or elective subject; participating in the preparation of language projects and applied programmes and implementing them; carrying out in-service training; helping to create international connections for the department (language-related competence); helping the various structures of the college to publish foreign-language materials that introduce the college; doing translation work based on the interests of the college.

5. Lingo

Lingo is a private company that was established in 1991. Initially, Lingo just provided English language courses for adults and employed two people. In 1992, we started to provide written and oral translation services. Since the role of translations and other office services increased, the management decided to create a new independent nonprofit Pärnu Language School in 1998, which focused on language instruction. Lingo specialises in translation and office services.

Our experienced translators and interpreters help clients communicate in Estonian, English, Finnish, German and Russian. However, if necessary we can also find translators for other European languages such as Latvian, Lithuanian, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, and more.

6. Pärnu Association of the Blind

The nonprofit Pärnu Association of the Blind is a member of the Estonian Federation of the Blind.  We provide translation services in sign language.

Catering

1. Frens Catering

Frens Catering provides all the services you require to make your event a success.  
Starting with your first contact with Frens, you will be assigned a Frens Catering project manager, who will provide you with advice on choosing a suitable location and style for your event, will prepare a written offer for all the services, and coordinate all the preparations.

2. Strand SPA & Conference Hotel

Our event managers will take care of restoring your conference guests’ energy reserves. For relieving small hunger pangs, we provide coffee breaks with various snacks. We can also provide larger meals to be enjoyed at lunch or in the evening.
