Safety

Pärnu is as safe as any other city in Estonia or Europe. However, you should take the usual precautions when visiting Pärnu:

- do not keep your wallet and documents in the outer pockets of your clothes and bags,
- pay special attention to the contents of your pockets and bags in crowded areas and public transport,
- do not leave your personal items unsupervised in dining establishments and other public locations,

- be vigilant in dark streets and parks as well as near places that are party spots at night.
